Mr. Book Squirrel has awarded me one of his coveted end of the year awards for the novella “Crystal Bones and Gossamer Wings.” I was surprised and honored to receive the Silver Horror Award – and now, along with several Editor’s Choice Awards from James Ward Kirk, one from Sebastian Crow, and one from John Ledger, along with a couple of decades-old awards from an editor named Don Miller at Nightmare Express – I guess, maybe, I can start calling myself an award-winning author even though I have never won an Edgar or a ackson? Whattaya think?
